Just a heads up that trip letters will be going out soon for our trip to China Town, on Wednesday 25th January, and we need 3 parent helpers.
The trip will be to support our up coming learning on Chinese New Year and will be a whole day affair from 9am – 3.25pm. We will be having lunch at a Chinese restaurant and you will need to bring £5 cash to pay for your own lunch. So please email me if you are able to help us on the trip (firstname.lastname@example.org) that day.
Yesterday a note went home in book bags with details of personal log ins to get onto the brilliant games site LGFL Busy Things. Busy Things is a great resource to support the children’s learning with a range of fun games that they can do at home.
If you have not seen the note yet please look in book bags this afternoon so you have the correct individual log in details and they do not get lost!
Do you have any weighing scales that you wouldn’t mind us borrowing this week?
We are looking for small digital cooking scales, scales to weigh people on, dial scales and any others. Many thanks, we will return on Friday.
Also, we will be needing toilet rolls to make some cool rockets so please send them in.
Our cinema trip is tomorrow morning so please can you ensure your child is in class by 9am at the latest. There will be no activities out in the classroom, so it will just be a drop off as we will need to get sorted as soon as possible.
There is no need to bring a back pack as we will be having the class party on our return with all the delicious food you are kindly providing. However please make sure the children have a warm coat and sensible shoes for walking.
A food list has gone up on our classroom door for our Christmas Party next Thursday 15th December. If you could please sign up next to the items you are willing to get that would be great.
For those of you who do not regularly come into the classroom the list is below so please email me (email@example.com) which items you would like to bring and I will sign you up.
Thank you to Kelene, Jessie’s Granny and Naomi who are the parent helpers on our trip this Friday 2nd December. Please remember an Oyster card in case the bus driver asks you to swipe in.
We will be depart around 10am so parent helpers, please come to RSL for 9.50am on Friday. Remember a packed lunch for yourself. The children are provided with a free lunch.
It is likely to be very cold so please ensure your child has a warm coat in school. Finally, please send your child to school with a small backpack instead of their book bag so that their lunch can be put inside.
Thank you so much for your offers of support, we now have enough parents to accompany us to the Horniman Museum. A massive thank you to Jessie’s Granny, Kelene and Niki who will be joining us for the trip next Friday.
Please could Solomon and Amber-Lilly return their forms and money as soon as possible, as well as anyone else who has money outstanding.
