Thank you to all those people who have already returned their trip letters. Please can all outstanding trip letters and monies be given to me by Friday this week.
We are also looking for 1 more parent volunteer to help us next Wednesday 25th January. So far Olivia’s mum, Elizabeth, and Erin’s mum, Cat, have agreed to come along so if anyone else is available please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
Just a heads up that trip letters will be going out soon for our trip to China Town, on Wednesday 25th January, and we need 3 parent helpers.
The trip will be to support our up coming learning on Chinese New Year and will be a whole day affair from 9am – 3.25pm. We will be having lunch at a Chinese restaurant and you will need to bring £5 cash to pay for your own lunch. So please email me if you are able to help us on the trip (email@example.com) that day.
Thank you to Kelene, Jessie’s Granny and Naomi who are the parent helpers on our trip this Friday 2nd December. Please remember an Oyster card in case the bus driver asks you to swipe in.
We will be depart around 10am so parent helpers, please come to RSL for 9.50am on Friday. Remember a packed lunch for yourself. The children are provided with a free lunch.
It is likely to be very cold so please ensure your child has a warm coat in school. Finally, please send your child to school with a small backpack instead of their book bag so that their lunch can be put inside.
Thank you so much for your offers of support, we now have enough parents to accompany us to the Horniman Museum. A massive thank you to Jessie’s Granny, Kelene and Niki who will be joining us for the trip next Friday.
Please could Solomon and Amber-Lilly return their forms and money as soon as possible, as well as anyone else who has money outstanding.
We are desperately in need of 2 more parent helpers to join us on our trip to the Horniman Museum next Friday 2nd December from 9.30am – 3.30pm.
A massive thank you to Kelene (Na-Shawn’s mother) who has already volunteered, however we need 2 more adults (mums, dads, grandparents, carers or siblings over 18) to support us on the trip. Any parents and younger siblings are very much welcome to come along, however legally we need a total of 5 child-free adults to be able to go on the trip. If you are able to help please email me – firstname.lastname@example.org
We had a great trip to see the Vet and Pet shop in Herne Hill today. First we had a look around the pet shop at all the different toys, food and equipment you need to properly look after a pet. We even saw a pot of dried pigs ears which dogs like to chew on!
After that we met the lovely veterinary nurse who showed use the consultation room where all the sick pets are taken. We were also introduced to the vet’s dog, Tessa, and we all took turns to listen to Tessa’s heart beat through the stethoscope.
Finally we went out the back to see the pets they had in for treatment. There were two cats, a guinea pig and a dog. The dog was not feeling too well as he had just had all his teeth pulled out because they had not been looked after – a reminder to us all to brush our teeth! A massive thank you to all the parents helpers on our first trip!!
